Emergency First Aid at Work

The 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course is an accredited 6 hour course and a great introduction to first aid training.  The accredited First Aid Course we offer at Siren Training. This course helps you meet the requirements set out in the Health and Safety regulations of 1981.

 The EFAW 6 hour course is a great introduction to First Aid Training. Learners will leave with the confidence to deal with emergency life threatening situations in a competent way. Our instructors are experts from the Emergency Services who have ‘been there and done it for real’. 

The (EFAW) Emergency First Aid at work course is recommended if you work in a “low risk”/office based environment.

Emergency First Aid training is the first step towards saving a life and may prove useful for any member of the general public. This first aid course also enables a company to comply with Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 by having the appropriate number of First Aiders in the workplace.

Our 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work training comes with a strong reputation for practicality. We only use Emergency service medical specialists to run our First Aid Courses in London, or anywhere else in the UK for that matter. We will ensure you have all the help you need to complete your 20 multiple choice question paper at the end of the day but our main focus is ensuring that you are confident enough in your First Aid ability. Our 1 day Emergency First Aid course in London runs for approximately 6 and a half hours. We like to start sharply at 10 am. Please try your best not to be late. 

The main difference between the two, apart from the duration, is the amount of detail each respective course covers. The 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work course is the most basic accredited course we offer at Siren Training and is most suitable for people working in corporate, retail, education and low-risk sports environments.

On the other hand, our 3 Day First Aid course is the most thorough course we have on offer. This course is most suitable for industries functioning in a high-risk environment such as construction, manufacturing, sports and warehousing.

The trainers employed by Siren are presently working or ex emergency service professionals. Each trainer has many years of life saving experiences and techniques to share with you.

Following successful completion of the course, each student is awarded with a HSE recognised certificate which is valid for 3 years. Under current guidelines it is strongly recommended that you refresh your Emergency First Aid skills once every 12 months through a half day refresher course.

This first aid course is aimed towards individuals who work within a “low risk”/office based environment. If the attendees pass the 20 question multiple choice exam, they will be awarded a HSE recognised certificate which is valid for 3 years.
